Material Properties Testing

Understanding each material through testing prior to any system being designed is critical to ensuring a system functions as desired. Material product testing requires an in-depth knowledge of the characteristics of each material. Beltech material testing facility capabilities range from simple fluidization tests and sieve analysis to microscope particle analysis and inertial separation testing.   Each material testing process is followed with a detailed report. Filter media testing allows Beltech to define the condition of your filter media.  We are able to test oil / moisture exposure, media blinding, media degradation due to excessive cleaning and/or temperature. Using these results, Beltech will recommend filter media best suited to your process. Pilot plant testing enables you to define the operating parameters in a controlled environment that can be scaled to your custom application. Areas of pilot plant testing may include material degradation, system wear testing, and overall system throughput.  We can also custom design a pilot plant to investigate any parameter you require. On Site testing provides us with the opportunity to gather data in real industrial plant conditions thereby allowing us to provide you with process specific recommendations. Testing includes slipstream filter media testing, moisture testing, contaminant determination and overall airflow capacity.
